NUMBER SIX (2019) "Never odd or even"

What is never odd or even? It can be tricky to answer. The thing that is not tricky about this phrase is reading it from right to left or from left to right. This palindromic phrase became my first piece of art made of metal. Once I shaped and welded all fourteen letters together it was time to perform. I created a short video consisting of the metal sculpture, projection and palindromic music (Mozart’s Crab Canon). It was in an exhibition and now it is quietly sitting on the wall, overlooking the traffic in our corridor. People going there and back and quietly reading it from any direction.
