Where was I again?

I shall like to pretend that it is not just three years and roughly three months since I posted my last blog post on this web. It has been so long that I am actually slightly unsure about using the word "blog" - is this term still used? It is still one of the menu categories provided by my website-building platform, so I reckon that blog is still a thing. However, I am fully aware that reading text compared to watching someone talking or even just listening to an audio recording is far less attractive.

I like writing though and so I am going to be awkward and return to this old-fashioned activity. It doesn't matter if it will not be read by many. It will serve a different purpose, quite a selfish one. Looking back at all of my old posts, which I have successfully deleted (of course not for good, I have separation anxiety like a one-year-old when it comes to stuff that I produced and so I keep hoarding, including digital content) it made me feel good to know what I have been doing. I can't say that my memory got worse because it has never been very good and so it is hard to tell if my age makes any difference in that matter, but I certainly do not remember a lot of the things that I mentioned in the posts from 2021. It was surprisingly pleasant to read some of it, I have done stuff and that's great.

I actually haven't got anything particular to write about today, I just wanted to dust off the keyboards and give it a go. I will think about my next attempt and hopefully share something less vague. By the way, I will resist the little nagging blue symbol begging for attention - by that, I meant the AI text editor on this site. I know that the whole reading would become a lot less complicated if I allowed AI to tidy up my clumsy English and the super long sentences, but it would be a bit boring, I reckon.
