NUMBER FIVE: WARNING! Sunglasses needed!

NUMBER FIVE (2019), Hic Et Nunc

The one work, that is not allowing anyone in our house to forget about, is my Hic Et Nunc piece. It is facing the door of my room and as soon as I enter it shouts at me "Here and Now!" The neon Perspex has this weird quality of being illuminated constantly. It shines all the time. It is like a never tired reminder of reality. I let it shout in different corners of my house, not leaving the gallery space dictated by the lockdown rules. This artwork was part of my first installation and ended up being exhibited in three different group shows.
